What Veldtrack does
Everything on one map

Camp Mapping

Draw paddocks onto satellite imagery. Area, stocking rate, and feed status calculated automatically. Shared borders snap perfectly together.

🐄

Herd Tracking

Place herds on the map, add animals by batch or individual tag, and track days-in-camp with colour-coded urgency indicators.

🌾

Infrastructure Pins

Mark bakke (hold feed), water points (hold water), gates (snap to fence lines), and misc pins. Each knows which camp it belongs to.

🤖

AI Farm Reports

Weekly factual reports every Saturday at 16:00 SAST. Ask the AI which camps are missing a bak, where a gate is, or what moved this week.

📍

Live GPS Location

Real-time location shows which camp you're standing in. The AI knows too — ask "which camp am I in?" for a full camp summary.

🛡️

Four-layer Backups

Auto-save every 2 seconds, emergency local copy, nightly backups kept 7 days, and one-tap JSON export. Your records are always safe.

Getting started
Up and running in minutes
1

Create an account

Register with a username and password. No email required. Up to 10 accounts per farm — share access with workers or family.

2

Draw your camps

Tap Trace Camp and click your paddock boundaries on the satellite map. Adjacent camps share exact fence lines thanks to border snapping.

3

Place herds and infrastructure

Drop herds onto the map, add your animals, then pin your bakke, water points, and gates. The AI knows what's in each camp.

4

Let the reports run

Weekly farm report generates every Saturday at 16:00. Review in the Ops tab or export as PDF. Your activity log builds itself as you work.
